Bright tones of blush and pink, paired with crisp white is always a winner palette for a classic Summer wedding. For the ceremony at Perkins Chapel, we kept classic in the forefront. Perkins Chapel is a staple for elegant affairs and the classic vibe always works. The reception, on the other hand, was really about adding in texture, whimsy and taking classic a different direction. The Dallas Scottish Rite is a blank page. While the undercurrent there is definitely stately, there was room to add some modern touches. Some of the tables were rectangles, allowing for banquette seating, which of course means centerpieces can take a more dramatic turn.
