Cactus + Whimsy Wedding

There is nothing that brings more joy to my heart, then when I have a bride with a unique vision, that not only fits who the bride is - her style, personality, and of course her fiancé and their relationship together. But who is unafraid to take risks and do something a little un-charted. I love those kind of brides!

Patty was just that. At the beginning of processing her floral style and design, she knew right away that she wanted to involve cacti and succulents. Of course I was game. Her wedding was at Brik Venue in Fort Worth which made the perfect industrial backdrop to an eclectic mix of floral.

Outdoor Spring Wedding

Outdoor events are about as lovely as they come. Especially, when the weather is gorgeous. For this particular event, we had exactly one day of good weather {the day of} with the venue being at a country club in Frisco, TX. We were actually setting up the ceremony décor while a golf tournament was going on {the behind the scenes at wedding set-ups is always interesting}. Here's a few photos of our florals...{and isn't the bride's blush-colored dress to die for?!}

This beautiful event was orchestrated by Rachel Events. Stunning photographs by Charla Storey Photography.
